Alain Le Yaouanc is a French painter best known for his Surrealist constructions.

It was in New York in 1956 that the artist truly took to art, always experimental Yaouanc studied and exhibited in America for a number of years before returning to live in Paris. It was here that the artist began to truly find his voice, exhibiting in a number of mediums Yaouanc works often defy explanation having both a mechanical Constructivist element combined with touches of Surrealism. 

Having exhibited in Paris throughout the 60s 70s and 80s the artist also had shows in New York and Monaco.
